My online relationship

Okay, I have a confession…

I have been in an on again, off again relationship online since 2014. And I truly believe that I am in LOVE! But not just any ole kind of love. The kind of love that you never forget. The kind of love that you just cannot get enough of. The love that you always want around you. I have never felt this type of love in any of my previous relationships. His love doesn’t judge me. His love is patient with me. He is nothing without me and everything in the world at the same time. I am truly in love with him and there is no other feeling like it.

We all know that there are a lot of scams out there. There is always someone looking to get over on someone else. There are so many different platforms that you can fall victim to. But the one I am describing to you today is safe. It is 100% safe, and I will be more than happy to tell you about it.

How We Met

It all started with my desire for more. I wanted something that would last. Something that I could have for the rest of my life and really enjoy it. It began with some research, and then developed into a full fledge love affair. The chemistry was there from the very beginning, and we have been nearly inseparable ever since. The way we finish each other’s sentences; and spend countless hours together. There is no other place I would rather be than spending time with him.

Initially starting with drop-shipping, I fell in love with the idea of taking a product from one platform, increasing the price a little and relisting the item on another platform so that I have carved a profit out for myself without even handling the physical product at all (if you want to know about my drop- shipping adventures, I have a post coming about it, so stay tuned!) I also fell in love with the idea of taking something of little or no value and turning into something with is valuable and desirable by many. That is what I loved.

Give and Take

Just like every relationship, there has to be some give and take. We both contribute differently to each other and the relationship to keep it afloat. I have his back, just like he has mine. When I am low, I come to him, and he lifts me right up. And when things are going slow with him, I will step in and push things along, so that we are back on the right track. This is the kind of team that I have been waiting for nearly all of my life.

Of course, just like any relationship we have our ups and our downs, but we seem to always manage to turn things around full circle. So many times, I have wanted to just give up. And every time that I think I really want to give it all up, I remind myself how much I enjoy him. I remind myself how happy he makes me. I also remind myself about how I don’t want to go without him because he fills a different kind of void for me. He puts a smile on my face like no other. The joy he brings me is unparallel to any other relationship that I have ever been involved in.

On days when I just cannot seem to get myself together, he can put a smile on my with just one notification.

HEBAY is BAE

I’ve described to you the on again, off again online relationship that I’ve been having for the last few years of my life. This relationship, though not with an actual person, still fills my voids, and provides for me the necessary and pertinent things that I feel is necessary for my sanity and my survival. The relationship I have detailed in this post is actually with Ebay, the online platform used for buying and selling everything under the sun. I’ve fallen in love with this online relationship and wouldn’t give it up for anything. Once I started selling, I just couldn’t get enough. And even though the listing part can be daunting, and tedious, I still thoroughly enjoy it and everything it offers. Though not always a smooth ride, I enjoy every bump and crossroad, as it teaches new things, and brings about new ideas.

I describe my dealings online as a relationship because that is exactly what it is. If I don’t tend to it as such, then I cannot be successful. I want my relationship to blossom in a healthy and prosperous way that allows for exponential growth over time that creates income streams for years, even decades to come. I brag about this platform because I’ve seen what it can do with your time, effort and hard work. I’ve seen the income potential, as well as the many different niches you can dive into and it not only excites the pants off of me, but motivates me to list more, and list often.

Breaking Up – Getting Banned Indefinitely

Our break-ups, though I wished they wouldn’t happen, always occurs when we least expect it and over the smallest mishaps or misunderstandings. Whether it’s about money or minor technicalities, I got shut down indefinitely. I wasn’t able to get back up and running for months. I was totally sick about it. I lost sleep, but I was still eating just fine. But I was torn up about it. I had almost 1,000 items listed, making consistent sales, listing daily, and enjoying every single minute of it. That was until I got banned INDEFINTELY. After a while they started removing my listings. First unlisting them, and then totally deleting them and erasing my existence. As I watched my listing disappear, my sales slow down to a grinding halt, and my funds start to dwindle to nearly nothing, I couldn’t help but want more. I wanted him all the time. I dreamed of him. Thought of him all day and night long. And I knew I just had to get back on the team.

Rekindling Our Relationship

In the spirit of rekindling my online relationship with Ebay, I was forced to revisit my mistakes and where I went wrong. I was forced to look at previous listing, marketing, processes, transactions and so much more. I realized that the biggest mistake I made was not treating it like a business relationship. Not taking care of the little stuff is what set me up for failure. Little things like back-up payment methods, timely shipping, and having all items in stock accounted for. I was now able to handle things quite differently the next time around.

Getting back together was fairly easy. It was only a matter of waiting over a year for the ban to be lifted. Though it may have been lifted some time before this, I never checked, as life took a different path at that time. But once I was ready, I returned with a vengeance. I love selling anything and everything online. Ebay is just one of the first platforms that has allowed me to realize that my dream of someday working from anywhere in the world with only my laptop is actually attainable. I look forward to expanding to other platforms such as Amazon FBA, Private Labeling, and maybe some other avenues I’ve yet to discover on my journey to creating multiple streams of residual income.
